Not a useful suggestion, but the most successful holiday season movie screening I've managed was for Left Behind II: Tribulation Force, this amazingly awful Evangelical Christian rapture movie starring Kirk Cameron. I don't have any Chanukah movie suggestions. I obviously like "Yentl", and mostly like "The Chosen", but mostly I like it inasmuch as it's quite faithful to the book, and I wear that book very close to my heart. A really nice Jewish romcom I watched recently was Crossing Delancey- Amy Irving and Peter Riegert as a couple negotiating cultural expectations and the tension between professional and romantic obligations. I liked it a lot- way more than I'd expected to.
