Itchy-feet: this was something fanf and I had to talk about quite seriously on our honeymoon. I like Cambridge a lot, but I'd rather live somewhere hillier / nearer (some of) my family. But this is where Tony has roots, and where he is, so goes my heart and all that. After 15 years or so, I have roots here too.

I find myself thinking about Sheffield sometimes. My mother, my aunt, his sister all within an hour; another sister living in the city, bus services into the peak district, and a vibrant and interesting city. But finding jobs for both of us and a house and a new school for Charles, when we are actually fairly happy and settled and Tony doesn't even want to move .... something of a challenge.
