Good letter, I should do something similar.

I hadn't heard about the Home Office data-mining the NHS for immigration status, though I knew they, DWP and HMRC all want access for various reasons (DWP even made a bid for access to GP's records, not just hospital admissions data). And of course if one can do it, then it becomes much easier to share their results with the others. I'll have to try and bring myself back up to speed to see what's going on.
