I really admire what you're doing with both grass roots and national level politics. I have never been inclined towards nationalism but I would probably vote for Plaid or the SNP if I were in the appropriate part for the country.

And I do have a few friends who are more or less aligned with me politically. Interestingly, they are spread among several parties; lots of Lib Dems who believe in the party's ideology and are putting real effort into keeping them pro-immigration, pro-Europe etc. Lots of Green supporters who think the Greens are the most socialist of the options available. Lots of Labour supporters; I think it's [personal profile] hollymath who expressed how I feel, I wish I could vote for the Labour party my Labour supporting friends believe in, instead of the one that actually exists. And quite a few who are basically Tory but won't vote for the current party under May because they've completely abandoned any sort of meaningful Conservative values.
