There may be a way to do this, but I've never seen any suggestions that aren't both convoluted and unreliable. It's why I jumped at implementing the ability to sort comments chronologically instead of by thread, but that's a very inadequate substitute.

The recent comments thing is no good because you can only see your own recent comments. You could create a style that displayed your recent comments page in a frame or whatever, but then other people would see their recent comments instead of yours, which is really no use!
