Now everybody's showing off with complicated Hebrew phrases: l'shana tova umetuka, for a good and sweet year, and l'shana tova tikatevu utichatemu, may you be written and sealed for a good year, and gmar tov vechatima tova, a good conclusion and a good seal... IMO the point is the general happy sentiment, and happy new year is really quite good enough for me!
