Gerv came to visit yesterday. It's very good to catch up with him! Also, he ended up having a huge discussion with my Dad about software patents and other things. I really wish I could have recorded it, because respectful, profound dialogue between an intellectual property lawyer and a serious Open Source geek is a rare and wonderful thing to witness.

By the way, I'm away for the next several days seeing blackherring, pseudomonas, lethargic_man and draconid. So if I don't get back to you until later in the week, that's probably why. Yay sociability.

It just occured to me that you won't have my new mobile number and I don't know if I have your number (and if I do, whether it's up-to-date or not). I also don't have your email address on me as I'm at work so I won't be able to email it to you until tonight. I'll put it in another comment which I'll delete so that no-one sees it.. but just in case you don't have it emailed to you then you know I'm trying to get it to you! If your number hasn't changed since I last saw you then try to get a message to me and I'll text you tonight (since that number is also not on my phone) so you've got my new number!
