That's the traditional way of doing it and is alright if you have small-medium breasts. If you have large breasts the underbust measurement is what you want for bra size. When I've been fitted at Bravissimo, they give me 30-32 bras, when at more traditional shops, 36-38 and the Bravissimo ones fit _much_ better.
