There's a gadget and sex toy shop in Brighton.
Of course, where else? But it does indeed sound like a clever combination! (Though given the general tone of this thread I'm surprised no-one has come along to point out that men not being expected / allowed to buy sex toys is sexist!)

The trick of shopping is to not /only/ shop for what you want, but to wander in to suitable shops as well.
That might work, except it would have made an already long day even longer. And also, two days before I move abroad is a really bad time to start acquiring new books; I'm going to have to cull severely as it is, cos there are only so many books I can transport :-(
