Yeah, what pseudomonas said. I basically post all my LJ posts from my own computer in my living room, and that would make for very boring metadata. So I changed the location field to where I was at the time of the event I'm posting about, or the setting of the book I'm reading. It sometimes confuses people but hey. (And yes, I do have the option of not filling in the location field at all, but I have slightly obsessive tendencies that I have to fill in every field!)
