identity: I'm Maevele pretty much everywhere, you can call me Mav for short. I'm 35 homeschooling mother of two, male partnered, female assigned, but more and more realizing I am male gendered, or something. That's part of what I am using dw to explore. New to "Fandom" in the fanwork sense, old at it in the more general geekily interested way.
What I'm passionate about: books and media, particularly sf, intersectional feminism, fixing feminism, general social justice issues, music, mental health, homeschooling, technology, the intersection of homeschooling and technology, language, wiscon, getting comments on my posts.
How I use Dreamwidth: as a catch all for my brain, communicating what may be too much with a large circle of people. I read a lot of fannish stuff, but very little of what I post is fannish. Mostly, dw is cheaper than therapy.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
