My identity: Vatine, late-30s male. Born and raised in Sweden, now living in the UK. Sharing my house with my wife, some cats, a dog, some fish, a bunch of computers in various state of "working" and more books than I have shelves for.

What am I passionate about? Um. Stuffs. I read a lot and (on my LJ) chronicle all paper books that I read. I also make a quick summary at the end of each month and have started posting them on DW as well. I like big, complicated things. Networks, co-operating computers, piles and piles of unstructured data to try to make sense of. I have played (pen&paper) RPGs since my early teens and have been known to design new ones from scratch. I've also knocked out a couple of computer games (not RPG ones, though), because the concept intrigued me. When I have some spare time, I write, mostly stuff set in worlds of my own.

So, how to I use Dreamwidth? Mostly, I default to "locked to no specific access", with a couple of filters to allow people to see less of what I write. I occasionally post completely unlocked things, but that is the exception.
