Your Identity: I am Psyche, 32 in 12 days and married with one son. I work in revenue cycle management in a major metropolitan hospital, which by turns vexes and contents me. I am liberal with some socialistic tendencies and a miniscule pinch of conservative thrown in for shits and giggles. I am faithful, hopeful, loyal and strong. Introverted, practical, generally cheerful and optimistic. Opinionated, bossy, detail-oriented and easy to get along with. I am a supertaster. I am a Harry Potter/Narnia/other sundry fantasy fan. I am "a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer." A wife, a mother, a friend, a memory.
What You Are Passionate About: Reading and writing, music and movies and life and love. Family and friends, and people in general as opposed to ideas. I like ideas, but I'm more interested in what you think of the ideas, in how the ideas affect you and the living of your life, and why. I am passionate about life and the living of it, in giving life meaning, in the belief that not seeing something doesn't mean it isn't there. I love words and language and the myriad ways they can be put together to form thoughts, ideas, expressions. I love food and video games, and mostly just spending time with those I love. I love - deeply, wholly, unconditionally.
How You Use Dreamwidth: I'm mostly a chronicler, on average 3-4 times a month, sometimes more, sometimes less; I post about life and how I view the things that affect me, things that happened to me, things that amuse me or that I find interesting. I vent about work and family, anything that comes to mind. And I always enjoy knowing what others think about things, hearing about similar things that others go through, and even just opinions from others about anything I've mentioned in my journal. I love the crosspost function because I write many posts while at work, where LJ is blocked but DW is not - and all my friends are there with no intentions of coming here. But I like DW better, so I've been stepping up my search for new people here, to find friends and pull them into my life, and hope they enjoy me enough to pull me into theirs.
Link to something on DW: I don't have too many I read yet - I'm hesitant about adding things or people I don't know well, but there are some comms I enjoy reading, including books and omnomnom.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
