Livre d'Or

Identity: My name is Lewis, or Casteylan, depending on whether you know me mainly offline or online. The part of my identity that gets talked about the most in my DW is my gender. I'm transgendered, FTM (female to male), and just starting the transition process at the ripe old age of 43. Aside from that I'm British, work in administration (boring) and I am an artist and amateur singer involved in the local folk music scene. Partnered to a wonderful guy that I've been with for 24 years (yes I identify mainly as a gay guy), have a daughter of 21 and a dog.

My passions: Art, music, trans/queer issues, my dog, walking, and everything else on the interests list of my profile. I write, a little, but I'm not involved in fandom any more and I don't currently post fic on DW. This may or may not change in the future.

How I use DW: I post a couple of times a week, when I have something to talk about. Mostly day-to-day stuff, although there is the gender thing as well. Nearly everything I post here is public although if I ever post artworks or fic they would usually be f'locked.

Reccommending: slashfairy who is my very good friend in California and who is involved with nursing and healthcare, womens' rights and other related things. She posts a lot of very interesting stuff.

EDITED TO ADD: I have abandoned LJ now. Pretty much all my LJ friends post on DW as well so there's no longer any need for it.
