This is a picnic meme. There will be an LJ picnic on Jesus Green, Cambridge, UK on Sunday the 22nd of June (today), from around 2pm. We'll meet toward the town end of Jesus Green, by Lower Park Street. Nobody is organising this; it'll just happen. Please turn up, be sensible, bring food and drink, meet new people, have fun.

I plan to be there from about 3 pm, and will head to London and the Pembury after a couple of hours. I'm bringing other cool people. Whee! I've never done one of these before.

Shucks! I could totally have gone, but I pulled an allnighter last night, went to bed at 10am and have only just got up now. So, nine hours sleep -- good thing; missing a picnic meme -- sucky in the extreme.

Sounds like fun, though. Was fun had?

no summer vaccation in this iteration of studenthood, but I'm buggering off to France and Belgium for a bit anyway.

I'm in permenant essay crisis, but that's because I am doing far too many modules. Meeting up with you and having a coffee next time you're in the country sounds like a great idea (I was going to suggest it this time, but you seemed like you were on a bit of a time budget so I didn't).

Soundbite

Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
