The problem I've had with Happy Cow in the past is that the information tends to be incomplete and badly out of date. If I'm looking for somewhere to eat, I want a directory that's been updated within the last six months, otherwise there's too high a probability that I'll turn up to the listed place only to find that it's closed. Happy Cow tends to be about 2 to 3 years old, and it isn't very good at sorting out UK places from American ones in towns with similar names. I'm willing to give it another try, especially since I'm trying to get away from Google anyway.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
