Wow, thank you so much for saying that. I was worried that writing our own declarations would be really, really tacky, but the alternative was to use something that would have been inappropriate for us. And yes, we put a lot of thought into pledging things that we actually intend to keep, both for the ceremonial declarations and for the written contract. (No promising to love eachother very much forever and ever; I hope we will, but it's not a thing you can meaningfully promise.) It's really nice that you noticed that.
