Yes, paperwork and procedures, absolutely vital. It's a bit in limbo at the moment because we no longer have a central Grad School, so the functions of getting forms signed and hand in procedures and arranging vivas and so on have been devolved to the individual schools. But hopefully by the time we get to the sharp end of this there'll be more of a consensus of how it's supposed to work under the new non-regime.
