I think if it was me I'd talk about how there are a LOT of bits of Torah we straight out ignore, and bring some suitable sources, and how we don't have a problem with straight out ignoring a lot of bits and mostly Torah is a sort of rallying-point thing for HOLYFEELS, so ignoring the holiness code is just one more thing in that line.

The aging stuff is scary. I had not thought about that.
