Or you could by human hair weft and dye) For either wool-dreds or loose pony-falls, you can DIY quite easily:hand making dread-dreads is, frankly, a faff, and there's a significant difference between someone's early attempts and a practised makers' work, so if that's what you're imagining, I'd contract that out.
