Yep. I take great care, when critiquing media, to go "but I understand appreciating problematic media". I think some of it is fundamentally the same work as accepting that I am racist and classist and operating a strategy of harm-reduction from there: not insisting that there aren't problems, not insisting that people must watch the thing, listening to critiques as appropriate (sometimes, one-on-one, it is okay to go "actually I'm too fragile about this right now, I am aware you are correct but can we change the subject" or whatever); and so on.
