Yeah, it was, and I think I'll always love it because of that. But yeah, like I said, I think it is one of those shows where you have to watch it at the right time, and be the right kind of person, to really fall in love with it? So I can understand how, coming to Buffy now, if you never watched it back in the day, it's not as engaging. It's just one of those shows you had to really be into at the time.

And yeah, there are more options out there now than there were back then, and that makes a difference to how much it might resonate. And that's not a bad thing. Diversity is always a good thing in media, I think, and it gives more chances to deal with these things in different ways, and perhaps less problematically.
