I liked Three Parts a lot, was rather disappointed by Two Serpents, but really liked Five Fathoms (the most recent one): Two Serpents felt as if the author was hiding things from me, and Five Fathoms as if the narrator was finding things out at her own pace. Also I found the Mayan-Los-Angeles mix of Two Serpents rather more discordant than the fairly solid Hawaii of Five Fathoms.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
