You're right, using FB because everybody else is there even when we all hate it totally is defecting. *sigh* I definitely do prefer text to email for logistics, but I still want to be able to express myself in multiple paragraphs, so email is better for actual conversation, I think. And I'm outside the SGO / chiark IRC enchanted circle, even though many of my friends socialize there.
