First up, in a slightly less transient medium than query: I have every confidence that you can do this, and that you can do it well enough: good enough is good enough. It is evident that you have the good will of the community, and I can't imagine they won't give you plenty of leeway for knowing you've come in at the last moment.

It seems to me that - as you say - your main role here is to act as a facilitator and maintainer of safer space; you are tactful (yes, really!) and compassionate and people will know they are putting you in a difficult position and therefore quite possibly respond better to you than they would to someone more a member of the community in the present.

I think me getting any more specific than that would involve knowing what plans were already in place and how comfortable you were with adapting them to your own purposes; and probably also having significantly greater liturgical awareness than I do! But: I believe you can do this thing, and do it well.
