Also, I really want to play Dominion, and if you haven't tried Ascension, that should be a thing?
Yes to both. I've not played any of the more recent deck-building games, but dominion is definitely excellent, fairly accessible (especially if you play board games already) but lots and lots of replayability. We definitely need a board games evening soon.
