Oh yes, a lot of policing people's clothing shifts very easily into body-shaming. If I do end up stopping caring about modesty, that will be one of the big reasons, because it really is bullshit. I am sorry you've gone through that sort of bad experience, and I salute your entirely sensible response to that.
