I completely agree! 'Because I want to' is the best possible reason for choosing clothes. I mean, on a larger scale I've made the choice that I don't want to spend a lot of time and energy obsessing over clothing choices, whether that's for the sake of modesty as discussed here, or whether it's fashion or any other kind of intricate social signalling. So I have tried to acquire a reasonable selection of clothes that are appropriate for most of the situations I find myself in, and usually I just grab whatever's clean.

I also completely agree that It's not cool to force other people to justify their choices to others. I'm talking about modesty just now because I like having discussions about things, but I don't at all want to demand justifications from anyone else.
