Yeah, this is one aspect of bike ownership I need to do some thinking about. In theory, I should learn to fix punctures and otherwise do basic maintenance. In reality I have limited time and lots of different skills I'd hypothetically like to learn, and given I'm planning to cycle through a town that's absolutely stuffed full of bike shops, maybe this shouldn't be a priority.
