I... have no dexterity in gloves. But closing-finger-round-ski-pole, er, handle-bar is totally do-able in even very chunky gloves (for me). I have twist-shifters for my gears (maybe they require less dexterity). Try the gloves you have first of course, maybe it won't be that cold.
