Ah, that's good info about the S5 Neo. It was looking like a good balance between price and features on a casual search. Good point about actually looking at some screens to see if the resolution rather than the physical size is adequate. My impression is that a lot of things of equivalent spec to my Galaxy II are more expensive at the moment, but there are gains from having something newer so I don't feel like I did a year ago that anything I could afford would be an actual downgrade.
My impression of people thinking capitalism inherently unethical is that most of them realize we don't have much choice whether or not we're living in a capitalist system. It's more like they think there's no point trying to buy stuff that's ethically rather than unethically sourced and produced, because of the badness of capitalism.
