Yeah, it's not fair to say that Christians never care about modesty, it's just that majority of Christians, who are already the majority in most interfaith groups, do not make modesty a big part of their practice. Or they're only interested in spiritual modesty and not in concrete instances of it.
What I told the nice Orthodox lady was that I remember being specifically requested to join the women's minyan (rather than the mixed one I'd have preferred) so that women could say Kaddish. And throwing males out, even kids pre bar mitzvah who shouldnt've made a difference to counting, because we couldn't count women if males were present at all. But saying "this Orthodox community did it" is very far from being a source. And I think I remember doing Kaddish in women's davening at Drisha too, but I'm less certain that that is how it worked.
