Date: 2017-04-24 01:35 pm (UTC)I (had way fewer piano lessons than you, and) have a tenor recorder that I pick up a couple of times a year and still enjoy playing, because I can enjoy it without knowing any more than the rusty remains of what I learnt at primary school. In the last couple of years of middle school I was in the recorder ensemble and I got to play tenor because I was strong enough to hold it and preferred it to the bass.
I have somewhere a Sheffield Ceilidhsoc tunebook which is a little bit beyond my sightreading abilities but is intended as a fairly accessible selection of folk tunes for playing on a wide variety of instruments. If I can find it, would you like me to send it to you?
