I found it! Georg Friedrich Händel. Sonata for 2 recorders & continuo in F major, HWV 405, a recording here (I still rather regret not doing it). There's an arrangement of Brandenberg 4 for 2 recorders & keyboard too.

...sounds like we almost have a recorder consort's worth of people :)
