You are totally good enough to play for the Round, the band leader is very welcoming and if you want to join the band for even just one piece of music once a term, he will think that is great, and send it you in advance and you can just practice that and then come and play one tune and then enjoy the rest of the evening just dancing or listening. But I know life is busy! Next band night is on Thurs 27th Feb, if you're even vaguely interested give me an email address I can pass on to the band leader :-)
