Haven't seen HaSodot yet, I have it on my list but it's one of the ones that wasn't straightforwardly available for a date night without advance planning.
My understanding is that Alderman, who is ex-Orthodox, consulted on the design elements of Disobedience, so I'm not surprised they got that right. Plus they seem to have a fair number of Jewish actors; Rachel Weisz comes to my shul occasionally. But even the book is somewhat about how Orthodox communities are awful and repressive, so I'm not sure I'm going to love the portrayal.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
