Wow. That was a very impressive, inclusive, and well-thought-out list. I did have a few comments on individual items, but felt they faded into insignificance by the time I got to the end of your list. I am wondering what will eventually happen to pronouns in common English usage. I have the sneaking feeling it will end up as "they," but I admit that currently sets my teeth on edge when referring to an specific individual, rather than as the equivalent of "one."
