Car culture is *terrible* for my particular disabilities. My bicycle is absolutely a mobility aid, but there are lots of places it's simply too dangerous for me to ride, and I can't walk that far (or for short distances, there are days I can choose between walking, and carrying anything at all -- even a small handbag only big enough for keys, wallet, and phone -- if I don't want to be in pain), and a lot of the time I can't take my bicycle on public transport either, because it isn't allowed or because there isn't level access.
And yes: getting more of the people who currently drive for convenience to drive less or even not at all would absolutely make the roads clearer and safer for people whose particular disabilities (or other circumstances, e.g. work) mean that driving is their best or only option.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.

I don't think you're missing much, if anything.
