Which is to say: "but anti-car measures are ableist!" is mostly true because our public transport systems are hideously inadequate and driving cars is normalised.
It's possible that, if I had unlimited money, I would find driving more accessible than cycling. But I also can't afford to insure and run a car in London; and expecting people with limited walking mobility to be *able* to drive, and so not accommodating us in other ways, is also pretty bad.
