Yeah, I had seen Siderea's analysis of class as distinct from wealth and found it useful. Though in Britain class isn't hidden or taboo in nearly the same way, rather the opposite, tiny nuances of class difference are obsessed over and rehashed constantly.

Not because socialists ideologically think that exploitation in the service and care sectors doesn't matter, but because it's much harder to organize, and the move from steady employment to gig work makes that even worse. And similarly, it's a really good explanation for why labour activism is so dominated by older, usually provincial, men, because they are the group that had the opportunity to organize and form a political movement in the first place.
