Wow, really good point. The connection between accent and (perceived) class runs so deep. And that's a really interesting observation about the way that schools establish class identity and networks for under 13s. By the time you get to university it's almost too late, because people from low status schools are funneled into low status universities or away from HE altogether.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
