I definitely read a lot of Chalet School books, some multiple times. But for me they were more brain-candy than highly significant to who I am. Also I'm not sure which one I'd pick if I picked just one, probably something from the Mary-Lou era, maybe The new mistress as I really loved seeing teacher POV.
