London socializing?

I am planning to spend Sunday evening in the Pembury. See some of you there? I am not going to be very contactable between now and then, cos I am having a wild social life over the weekend and don't have a UK phone just now, but if you know jack's phone number you can contact me via him.

Anyway, it would be lovely to see lots of people on Sunday, I miss you all.

If you get a chance to see this, could you let me know what time you'd be getting there? I'm out on Sunday afternoon, and need to be home on Sunday evening, but could drop in on the way, if I know you'd be there.

Sorry I didn't make it. I thought there's little point travelling for an hour to get there, then having to go again less than an hour later to get home for my translation session.

Then J sends me an email at nine o'clock saying she's not well, and can't make it. Despite my having sent her a text that afternoon saying if she couldn't make it to let me know in advance.

I'm not very pleased. This is the fourth social event this weekend I've failed to make it to, and I am extremely angry (including with myself) given the dearth of social events in my diary in both the week beforehand and the week after.

apparently i missed you by a few minutes on Thursday night when i stopped in for a quick half on my way home.. ach well. see you soon, i hope x
