I met beckyzoole when we ended up on the same side in an argument with a singularly stupid feminist. It was a definite bonding experience!

Like you, I do sometimes friend "random" people I have little or no direct connection with. I'm trying to cut back on that cos my flist is getting bigger than I'm comfortable with. But there are too many cool people on LJ to resist it very well.
