To everyone for whom the year is about to be new. This year Ramadan corresponds exactly with Tishri, so a blessed Ramadan to Muslims. (And everyone else is welcome to non-specific good wishes too.)
Given that the Jewish calendar is lunisolar, and the Muslim calendar lunar, your "exactly" is a bit redundant. Either Ramadan will overlap Tishrei, or it won't. There can be no partial overlap.
Happy New Year! Mine doesn't come about until the end of November-ish - but if your calendar is more lunar than mine, is there a possibility that one year I won't be playing catch-up?
Thank you! This is about as late as the Jewish new year gets, so I fear you'll always be a bit behind. You're right that it does vary, but it varies between about the beginning of September and the first week in October, no more than that.
Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
