I have gone to the Antipodes in search of the elusive snark post-doc. Back on 29 November. I'll have limited net access in that time, so assume minimal email and probably no LJ.

Have fun while I'm away. And do lots of things that I wouldn't do and then post about them so I can enjoy them vicariously.

Have fun, and make sure you get a job and not a Boojum.

Ooh, have a good time. And enjoy the sunshine! :)

I love your last suggestion.

Good luck!

[livejournal.com profile] sphyg just posted details of a biosciences temp job here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/cantabrigiensis/102441.html).

Just in case you didn't spot it!

Oh, and, er, good skill!

(I seem to remember that you prefer that option)

Will have to give the request some thought. Not that I don't do lots of things you might not. Yesterday I shifted two Chinese tree peonies, and dug up a load of mallow roots. I am not sure these would bring you vicarious pleasure though.

Best wishes of your preference for the trip.

Well, I got seduced the other day; will that do?

I'm sure I can come up with a few things you wouldn't do, but things you wouldn't do that would be vicariously enjoyable to you at a level more than you being happy at a friend of yours doing something that makes them happy are more of a challenge.

I'm sure I can gather up some snark lest you should come back still hunting, at least. It would be very odd if my workplace were not to produce any excuse for some before you get back. *sigh*

(Well, if you will give me feedlinesthreads like that...)

Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
