Yes, I know you all know this, I've been going on about it for more than a month. But now I actually have the official letter saying that there is money for me, and mentioning me by name. My boss is lovely because he scanned the official letter and emailed it to me; I appreciate his understanding that I needed to see that with my own eyes.

I have made progress towards sorting out somewhere to live too; I have an email saying:

Dear Rachel, The landlord in A_____ say ok and welcome you as tenant

So that sounds pretty definite!

*breathe* I really am going to Sweden next month.

Well, it's looking all sorted for you now.

It's getting there for me. I'm getting through my various to-do lists, my thesis is now nearly put to bed, just one section to write on SAT problems for the introduction (I was armtwisted by my supervisor to add it), but all of my other corrections are now done. I should be finished by the end of tomorrow, so I'll be submitting on Monday as planned. The thesis has grown to 227 pages now, It'll probably hit 235 or so when I'm *really* done with it.

SO, have you started learning Swedish yet? It's really easy! (But not as pretty as Norwegian:)
