Period pains + essay crisis = sad hermitty Liv.

If you were expecting communication from me in the next couple of days, I think it might not happen. At least the view is pretty when I have to resort to staring out of the window.

Cheering of the non timewasting kind would be appreciated.
Edit 30 Jan: I really like you guys. So sweet that you responded to this whinge with practical advice. The mood I'm in I appreciate that much more than e-hugs. And it's good advice too. Yay friends, thank you all!

Chamomile tea is cheering (yay tea!) and may help with the period pains (it's a wonder drug for me).

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh dear, oh dear! Poor you...

I guess our Wednesday appointment is canceled, or do you want me to come your way and take care of you?

I do hope you feel better ASAP. Just go easy on yourself, relax, lie in bed, don't feel guilty for being less productive and have an early night.

If you need anything, just holler and let me know, ok?

*Hugs*!

Green and Black's is useful in such circumstances, I find.

My suggestion is to go out for a walk. I'm writing at the moment and unless I consciously drag myself out for some fresh air I'm liable to stay in all day behind my computer. At some point I'm sure I'd put down roots and become some sort of symbiotic parter to my chair.

I would do this, too, but sometimes I had to keep myself in the house so that I didn't bugger off to the park or something. During those times, I'd get myself out of the chair to do one chore (dishes, for example, or cooking dinner) and then get back to work.

Do you go swimming? Swimming helps.
I am also a bit blurgy due to nice friendly job finishing in 3 weeks time. But I am planning to cheer myself up by translating 15 fictional plant and animal names into Latin for somebody's degree project.

Soundbite

Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
