So, I'm back in Sweden. The journey was pleasingly uneventful, and I even managed to bring all my bookies and birthday presents with me.

I was going to write a post about [livejournal.com profile] linley's book and the privilege meme, but I have run out of energy and brain, in the wake of travelling, a procrastinate-ish first day back at work, grocery shopping, and period pains. So that, and all the emails and LJ comments I want to write, will have to wait until the weekend.

In romantic landscape news, between waking up in the night to go to the loo and actually getting up this morning, so much snow fell that my ankle boots were insufficient to keep my feet dry. Wet feet were rather mitigated by the prettiness though. Not many people are back at work yet, including, it seems, the people who clear and grit the roads. So everything was still pristine when I set out for work this morning, and my town at the side of the fairy lake was absolutely gorgeous, even by the standards of a pretty part of Stockholm just after a snowfall.

Glad you're home safe. Thank you for sending my skirt, it got here today.

The Rinat Yisrael isn't mine, you know. Did you think it was, or did you mean to dispose of it?

Ohhhhhh, actually I do have a vague memory of that, yes. Wow, your mum's good! I shall communicate that to her forthwith.

Well, I actually meant Sweden :) But there is an undeniable something about getting back online, especially if you have a lot of friends you see mainly there.

Don't worry, *I* was up ages before I wrote it, trying to keep it simple :) But I hoped we'd be running out of complicated things to say. Though I should maybe have some livejournal polls about: formal dating; kising; dating people you know well :)

I'm glad you still find it romantic; I am quite past that point with 90 cm of snow on the ground and -21 C with six additional degrees of windchill, myself.

Well, see, I'm planning to, but I want to actually physically buy it in a bookstore, and the only ones I've been in recently haven't had it.

Miscellaneous. Eclectic. Random. Perhaps markedly literate, or at least suffering from the compulsion to read any text that presents itself, including cereal boxes.
