Naked cuteness fight!

I appear to have run out of sense. I managed to get into an Internet Argument. About Christianity and abortion. With someone I have promised myself not to argue with, and an anonymous and apparently hardline Christian. And got so agitated about it that I didn't get any work done, and gave up in disgust and left my book and my mobile phone at work.

I think the only thing that will cheer me up is a contest between ridiculously cute naked people. You see, rysmiel pointed me to the most adorable strip-tease ever, to the accompaniment of a ridiculously catchy song. But then lisekit posted a video of a bunch of naked people being very silly, and I started to doubt if that isn't in fact even more adorable. Both links involve videos of people taking their clothes off while playing music; if your workplace can put up with that on the technicality that you don't actually see any naughty bits, then I suppose theoretically they are SFW. Only, you know, not very.

Awww. Yay for naked conflict resolution. I admit, I hadn't expected the title to be so accurate *hugs*. My work is pretty relaxed, but I think an extended strip-tease, however innocent and cute, so I'll vote later.

My titles nearly always describe the content of the post, otherwise what's the point of having them? It's one of my little neuroses, along with always filling in the mood and music fields.

That's the thing about the censor bar video; obviously the fact that it has black bars covering nipples and genitals doesn't magically make it into something completely suitable for the professional environment. Even though it's hard to legislate that way, clearly context is far more important than which bits of anatomy are visible.

I think the censor bar one is funnier, but Mylene Farmer is cuter. But only marginally so, because the censor bar people are obviously having so much fun with their little orgy!

Don't worry, I'm not judging all Christians on the basis of Mr S. Anonymous. And actually, he's a lot less bad than many of the argumentative Christians I've encountered online. He seems to be espousing a reasonably consistent set of beliefs about Christianity; maybe he's doing so in a trollish way, but he's not upsetting me particularly. And you have to realize I'm a lot less invested than you are in whether his form of Christianity is right. He is welcome to think that I'm fundamentally wrong for not accepting Jesus as Saviour; beyond that point, what he thinks should be the consequences of that belief is basically irrelevant to me, except that I'm interested to know how people think.

The censor bars do have some very cute choreography, which you don't really get with one woman doing a strip tease. They appear to be winning my poll by a convincing majority, so I'm sure you're right. But presented with a woman with that body type and that vocal style, singing in French while taking her clothes off, well, let's say it would take an unimaginably large amount of cuteness to distract me.

Thank you, badger. I don't think it was a trollfight, I think it was an actual argument between sincere people. If it had just been trolls I would have been able to resist. Teahugs are very much appreciated. And I am looking forward to the inverted nuns, even if a little disappointed that it wasn't the second meaning :-p

I think I will stick with Ms. Farmer, as the value of silly the censor bar people are doing does not quite gel for me, for a couple of hard-to-specify reasons.

Thank you for bringing that video to my attention; it really cheered me up when I needed it. I think the censor bar thing has some real moments, some where it looks as if the naked people are genuinely having fun, and some where they do something quite visually clever (I loved the human Pong scene!) Some of it tends towards soft porn clichés, though, and I think with that many people they could have included at least one or two with body types other than the one basic model type. (There is one black woman in the cast, but it took me multiple watchings to see her, she's very light-skinned and never in the centre of the shot.)
